The Boston College Women's Water Polo Club (BCWWP) competes in the North Atlantic Division of the Collegiate Water Polo Association. During the spring season the team practices for 2 hours, 4 days a week. Competition during the spring season includes 2 divisional tournaments, 1 division championship (1st place receives a bid to Nationals), 1 invitational tournament, and multiple scrimmages with local teams. During the off-season in the fall the team usually participates in an invitational tournament and local scrimmages. The team had its most successful season in spring '08 winning the division title and contending in the National Collegiate Club Championship for the first time.

BCWWP is a competitive, student-run program (we are not a varsity sport). Our team welcomes players of all levels and backgrounds. No experience is necessary, though strong swimming ability is recommended.
